Jake Hill podium finish at BTCC

Jake Hill’s 2020 BTCC season progress

After a frustrating start at Donington Park, which saw two engine failures, Jake has regained ground, earning his first points of the season at Brands Hatch and a 3rd place podium finish at Oulton Park. The following race at Knockhill saw Jake earn a second top-three finish, and another podium, which Hill described as “probably my best BTCC weekend ever at Knockhill”.

Following the race at Silverstone, Jake said: “Taking points in all three races and qualifying in the top-ten again was great though. So proud of my crew. As always, they worked so hard and I have now moved up to P10 overall and P6 in the Independent’s class, so some real positives there.

Jake Hill final standings, after 9 rounds:

BTCC Championship standing:
Position: 7th – 212 points

Independent Driver standing:
Position: 5th – 284 points
